Posted in Memory of my High School Friend Phil Tiedke who was a Navy Seal Team Member when he was killed:
CT3 Philippe Charles Tiedtke, USN, 914 32 84

Active duty since 2 September 1964
Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Arthur L. Tiedtke, Modesto, CA

And maybe saved hundreds of thousands (at least).
There was a Soviet bomber base in Alexandria, plus several USSR-crewed missile sites in the Sinai.
Any guesses as to Ivan's reaction if a flight of F-4 Phantoms went racing in towards Gaza ?
While someone might be interested in some of the details of this incident the general conclusion will not be changed and the only players who would profit from fissues between Israel and the U.S. are those who wish to destroy both, the Islamaniacs.
Should we have more investigations of the Mai Lai massacre, the Pueblo capture, the failed rescue attempt in Iran under Carter, etc.? They would be equally as irrelevent at this time as the Liberty attack causes. But less destructive to the war against the Moslemanatics.
In fact, the only countries (contrary to your idiotic lie) where slavery still exists are Moslem.
Is this the best you Jew Haters can come up with?
Israel is our closest ally to your great chagrin and is in no way opposed to our vets. However, those giving aid and comfort to our enemies are clearly opposed to our vets and all other citizens as well. Those enemies are Israel's enemies and if Israel falls victim to them the consequences to our nation will be catastrophic.
I can't imagine what kind of "documents" you deal with that you wouldn't have learned a little truth and fact.
I agree with you, this isnt the time for US investigation #11. Just a point of information the thread seems to be missing. The petition should read:
Whereas, the Congress of the United States has investigated every other incident of this kind; and
Whereas, the Congress of the United States has never conducted an investigation into the Government of the United States has only investigated the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty ten times (in addition to 3 Israeli investigations which well ignore);
Resolved, That the Congress of the United States should immediately undertake and conduct an eleventh complete and comprehensive public Congressional investigation

U.S. Navy Court of Inquiry June 10-18, 1967
The attack was a case of mistaken identity. Calm conditions and slow ship speed may have made American flag difficult to identify. No indication the attack was intended against U.S. ship.
CIA Report June 13, 1967
The attack was not made in malice and was a mistake. Joint Chiefs of Staff Fact Finding Team (Russ Report) June 9-20, 1967 Outlined "findings of fact," bud did not make any findings about the actual attack.
Clifford Report July 18, 1967
No premeditation, but "inexcusable failures" by Israeli forces constituing "gross negligence."
Senate Committee on Foreign Relations 1967
Secretary of Defense McNamara testified he supported conclusion that the attack was not intentional.
Senate Armed Services Committee Feb. 1, 1968
No conclusion. Secretary McNamara makes comparison of attack on Liberty to that on Pueblo with regard to uncertainty about what was happening at the time of the incident.
House Appropriations Committee April-May 1968
Navy communications "foulup" and no conclusion regarding Israeli actions. Much of report remains classified.
House Armed Services Committee May 10, 1971
Critical of Navy communications, no conclusion regarding Israeli actions.
Senate Select Committee on Intelligence 1979
Responding to critical book by Liberty crewman James Ennes, Senate investigation found no merit to his claim attack was intentional.
National Security Agency 1981
Liberty was mistaken for an Egyptian ship as a result of miscalculations and egregious errors.
House Armed Services Committee June 1991
Responding to request from Liberty Veterans Association, Subcommitte on Investigations launched probe that concluded there was no evidence to support allegations made by the Association and no reason for further investigation.
Please help him out. Does the tinfoil go outside the burnoose, or line the inside? Would a layer of lead foil help prevent mind-controlling rays better? How about mU metal?
Do you know any Saudis who might fund this vital research?
Thanks for your speedy reply, as this is of immense importance.
Great facts Jackson!
LOL. Do you have that little rant saved on your computer, so you can repost it for the 20th time, Mr. Lied? It just drives you nuts that so many Conservatives, here and elsewhere, support Israel, eh? :)
It was found to be an accident or a case of mistaken identity. This is needless harassment of our government and a smear against the Jewish state.
