You can blame me too, for putting Jesus on the cross, to die for my sins.

Christ was born to die. This was no surprise to Him. Human beings were the vessels to allow for His final sacrifice on the cross. My sin put Him on the cross.

Are these the same people who killed God's son?

You need to THANK those that killed God's son. No crucifixion = no redemption.

**Then you are sick. **

Why do you say that? Very unkind.

You mean we should THANK you for this (though I'm still not sure how you folks think YOUR sins had anything to do with this). The gospel is good news, don't forget---it's not a BAD thing that Jesus was crucified.

If you parked your car, and some guy gets in, and attempted to drive it away; and you cried that is my car, and he said GOD GAVE IT TO ME, I want to see your reaction to him.

One day, the religious leaders will get together and let the rest of the uninformed idiots know that this whole religious thing is man-made! Don't take it too seriously.

Land promise was fulfilled in Solomon's reign (I Kings 4:20-25). It was a conditional promise that went out of effect when Israel & Judah persisted in turning away from God. The land is no longer promised to anyone.

The sin of mankind had everything to do with Jesus' death.

Your post 44 does not, in any way, explain why you called another poster 'sick'. Again, very unkind.

Well, then we'll just have to leave you to your professional victimhood, and move on. No need to have another lurker who is not willing to read and gather all the background facts before pointing fingers at others. Have a nice day.

From what source do you deduce that it was a conditional promise? What verse of the Bible?

From what source do you deduce that it was a conditional promise? What verse of the Bible?

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 -- "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth; and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God."

These conditional blessings continue through verse 14 -- see especially v. 8, 9 & 11 regarding the land and the Israelites being the chosen people.

Then, Deuteronomy 28:15 -- "But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee..."

These conditional curses continue on through the rest of the chapter. Several references are made to forfeiting the land promise, such as verse 63: "And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it."
