Thanks for pinging me and posting this. I 've read about this cleric before. I need to remember that these courageous muslims are out there, as I have to admit, my attitude towards that religion has become fairly negative. There seems to be something about Italy in which goodness flourishess. This was true even during WWII, and their Prime Minister Berlesgoni (sp?) is a sensible man. So OK, I repent (at least until the next aggravation).

I am so alarmed at this apparent fear for the cleric's life voiced by so many of you. Seems freedom of speech is not such a cheap commodity. It is also an instinctive reaction to the true nature of the Palestinian version of Islam.
