That's my experience as well. XP is the best OS I've ever had and when it has crashed, it's been my own fault, usually because of driver mess-ups.

No, it's not your fault it crashed. A stable operating system wouldn't crash no matter what you threw at it. XP has crashed 3 times in one day on my system. XP still has many bugs in it.
