Just heard a reporter on FNC say he was working with reporters who are well educated and treating him and his fellow reporters with such kindness.......when they saw the photos of the slaughter they gave it a thumbs up and said 'good, they deserve it'. Actually, I think you're wrong about this.

I really think most of the Palestinians could live peacefully alongside the Israelis. The problem is that the nice gentlemen of the PLO have made it into a war zone, which means that everybody has to choose a side. Palestinians who don't choose Arafat are attacked and sometimes killed. Meanwhile, the IDF is (with justification) attacking Palestinian areas.

If, however, Israel can do away with the PLO infrastructure, and thus do away with most of the incitements, it may be possible to slowly integrate the Palestinians into a civil society. I think it'll be a long time before the Palestinians can be trusted with self-government, though.

I think it is 10-15 yrs away. Dont underestimate the socialization (propaganda process) on the person that hears about hate from birth by parents, from teachers in schools, to leaders.

Last night Banfield had 3 Israelis and 3 Palestinians on, all eduacated. The Palis are full of hate and each one justified and rationalized the murder of innocent civillians as a legit political tool.
