Larry asking Ashcroft to take action is simply Larry grandstanding.

There is a set course of action to file grievances within the system, the fact that Larry either didn't take the time to learn them, or didn't really care to, says a lot about Larry as an attorney.

Rick Ramirez is bound to observe regulations until he exhausts all resources, a good lawyer would have advised him of this, and been waiting to file that suit ONCE all internal venues had been exhausted.

Not before he had is FIRST internal hearing like JW did.

This promotion took place MONTHS ago, long before this case had been heard.

Regional INS Director is not a "low-level position." This person would report either directly to an INS Deputy Director, or the Director herself (Meissner). Besides, it is the Director for the Region of Texas. Doesn't this seem like a position that would be important to Pres. Bush's good friend from Mexico?

No, the GWB administration refused to allow him from being tried. The man is a murderer, he killed a woman who was holding a baby in her hands. There is no excuse for such a person being in the employment of the US government. Further, the government had to pay mega-bucks for what happened there and as far as I know, not one person has been fired, been punished or failed to be promoted on account of it.

If by GWB, you meant the Federal government, they gave clearance for the State to try Horiuchi, the State did not.

Look, Larry Klayman is a good lawyer. He has over 22 years experience in law, including experience in international trade and trial law. He also worked for the Justice Department at one time.

I am sure there is a good reason on why they took the action at the time they did.

--nothing unusual here at all to anyone who has been paying attention the last year and change. The "adults" are in charge now. I actually agree with this. this is a very true statement. The adults are most definetly "in charge", as in "giving orders" They are much slicker and much more sophisticated in bringing in the new world order than the previous 8 years collection of childish amateur goonlings. These are professional global big fat money and power goons. They go WAY back. They reward their own fellow travellers, those who understand what's up and will play ball, most obviously.

It is indeed a scary thing when the government starts to trample our civil rights and hardly anyone seems to care or even notice. The government may seem quick to trample our Constitutional Rights, but many are even quicker to throw them away.

If I come to an attorney, explain whatever problem I may have, I expect that attorney to tell me what we should do!
