Am I the only person who's bothered by the fact that we've become so damn illiterate that even journalists can't spell simple words like "fazed" anymore?

Or maybe I'm the only one who's poured over this stuff enough...

I noticed...but to be fair, maybe he was using the alternate "star trek" spelling, as in "phaser" ? Like they weren't stunned by the threat of suspension ??
