No offense meant, really, but I am still able to have a very nice time here at Free Republic, and am getting a little weary of your only-negative feedback...

Thanks, but many of us are not having a nice time at Free Republic as we once used to, and it saddens us greatly. It's like a cherished old friend who we don't recognize nor understand anymore. Check the posts on the many threads about the new changes. You'll see I'm far from the only one posting "only-negative feedback".

That said, I have to go offline for several hours. Have a nice afternoon.

Today's change to a lighter blue font on the index page sure helps! ;)

Lots of FR format discussion on this thread, it's not just about fonts.

I Love blue.

However, it probably should be a fairly dark blue and be a bit larger in font size. Older people have trouble reading blue--a physiologically determined fact of aging.

You just hit a rich vein of dull!!

I didn't come to FR for the looks, I came for the info!!

But Jim you should have left a little comedy in the news forum, it gets very deep and I think an occasional laugh helps eat serious news!!

Afterall "Mary Poppins" said it best, "a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down!!"

Bold font when I open an artical is much easier to read for these old eyes. I also don't have to sit as close to the computer screen.
