I agree. Lies come from both sides of this mess. The Israelis have billions for defense andthe Palis have rocks and suicide bombers. My fear is getting drawn into other countries civil wars. This dispute will be around when our grandkids grandkids are posting here. This country has it's own houscleaning to do. There are cesspools of corruption in every county courthouse in this land,.Ashcroft has either been bought off, blackmailed or he is the most impotent AG (worse than Reno) not to clean up all the scams.

You know, moral equivalence was bull back during the cold war, and it's bull in the Middle East. Israel is a decent country, and her enemies are evil. The rest is commentary.

And if the Palis are relatively weak, THANK GOD. I never understood sympathy for the Palestinians because their battle with Israel isn't more of a "fair fight." The Palestinians are lead by wicked murderers, whose capacity for destruction is limited ONLY by their lack of sophisticated weaponry. Does anyone doubt that the murder toys of the Karine A would be in use right now if Israel hadn't intercepted them?

The Palestinians have billions too, billions upon billions in foreign aid...oh I forgot, Arafat was too busy building lavish homes, buying cars and planes and helicopters, buiding his airport (in order to fly all over the world soliciting MORE aid), and squirreling the rest away in numbered accounts to dole any out to the masses or do anything silly like improve infrastructure or create domestic industry and jobs. Oh he did create one industry - airplane hijacking, which was then followed by suicide bombing, can't forget that valuable commodity.

By the way, guess who gave the legitimate arms to the Palestinian police?
