A Palestinian suicide bomber who may have been no older than ten-years-old was responsible for the deaths of 13 Israeli soldiers today, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said late Tuesday."This was the briefing that I took from one of the central commanders (in the West Bank)," Netanyahu told Fox News Channels "Hannity & Colmes."
"I don't know, frankly - because I inquired as well - whether it was a 10-year-old, a fourteen-year-old, or a thirteen-year-old," he said. "It was a youngster, a Palestinian youngster strapped with explosives (who was) dispatched forward. And yes, that's what caused the casualties."
The Israeli soldiers were killed as they were withdrawing from Palestinian occupied territories at the request of the U.S.
Netanyahu said he wouldn't be surprised if ten-year-old Palestinians were being recruited as suicide bombers, "since Yassir Arafat has suicide kindergarten camps with three-year-olds."
