A 10 year-old kid with a bomb-belt that was detonated by remote control in an alley pre-packed with hidden explosives sounds like an ambush to me, eh ???? It was not a "kid" in an alley. The film that I saw on Fox News showed IDF forces going into a building, to get out of the line of fire, and the building exploded. Could have been as simple as a booby trap. It's happened before.
And, by the way, even if it was a "kid", at least he was going after military troops. How many times have we honored kids who would climb a Nazi tank with a Molotov cocktail? How many times have we honored the Hungarian kids who fought against the Soviets? I really don't remember anyone complaining about the use of "kids" then.

How many times have we honored the Hungarian kids who fought against the Soviets?Sending your own kids out to die (not just to fight, but to definitely die) is perverse. The Hungarians fighting to live, they weren't dying to kill.

I would never "honor" the use of children in any of these situations.
Maybe I'm just too soft-hearted or naive, but I have two boys the age of most of the suicide bombers, as well as a daughter who is almost 16 and I cannot imagine ever EVER allowing them to go out and blow themselves up -- and to try to take innocents with them -- yet the parents seem proud and almost revel in the fact that their children did this -- it's sickening -- but I guess that Saudi and Iraqi money goes a long way to ease their pain, eh ??

So many people think this way.
Comparing the IDF's mission to eliminate terrorism with Nazi fascism and Soviet communism.
They are simply not the same thing.

If you consider the Palistinians moral equivalents of the 56ers, well, your morality is not of one who loves freedom.

"How many times have we honored kids who would climb a Nazi tank with a Molotov cocktail? How many times have we honored the Hungarian kids who fought against the Soviets?
