Uh.. letsee... you assert a general.. I don't know you.
You assert it was cnn... oh that's clearly more reliable than fox tv... and
YOu don't know his name, but WE know netanyehu...
And oh yes... his speech was translated while NETENYEHU said it in English that he speaks.
LETSEE, could the translator have been arabic? or a palestinian sympathizer? or could he or she have intentionally mistranslated things so as to NOT inflame Americans in their war on islamic extremists worldwide??? Of course not...
Who we going to believe from the outset? YOU? CNN? Unnamed General whosit? Transation department at CNN? An UNNAMED arab/palestinian translator?
I think I will stick with FOX, Netanyehu and STRAIGHT english, UNTIL I hear and see it somewhere with some credibility HIGHER than Benyamin... Don't hold your breath.
The CNN story I posted on this thread (#97) says it was an ambush which was initiated by a suicide bomber.
So there probably was a suicide bomber involved, but his age has not been established.
Did he specifically contradict Bibi or did he merely say that they were ambushed. Those are two entirley different things you know. I'd be careful of my sources if I were you. Credibility is our currency here and you don't want to wind up broke.
A 10 year-old kid with a bomb-belt that was detonated by remote control in an alley pre-packed with hidden explosives sounds like an ambush to me, eh ????
"Brig. Gen. Ron Kitrey said the soldiers were from two separate forces operating in the area. One of the forces was hit by boobytrap explosives and a suicide bomber".
