Thanks to both. I'm no apologist for Westerfield, but I can understand why everyone wants to know why the VDs are downplaying any connection to him. I can look at that many different ways, but I just don't get an answer that makes sense. It's possible that Westerfield was their dealer - that would have given him knowledge of the layout of the house - and the VDs want to downplay that connection, just as they weren't exactly forthcoming about their drug use.

Their dealer was either Rich, one of the two guys who came home with Bren. He had a little blue pill with a "v" on it.
