From the Prelim.....another look at the VD timeline.....

Next she remembers waking up around 8:15 in the morning - -The Damon was up already. She laid in bed about 10 more minutes and remembered she had promised to baby-sit for a neighbor - kids 8&5 - starting at 9:30...
Brenda took a shower and got dressed went downstairs...
Derrick, Dillon and The Damon were there - - she was going to make breakfast. Danielle was not there - - but she slept in - - heavy sleeper...
They carry sleeping kids sometimes - Danielle was a heavy sleeper...
She was starting to cook and the doorbell rang - Julie and her 2 kids...
The girl was told she could go wake up Danielle - - but she didn't - - she went to play with the boys. She went to her room - her door was all the way open - her bed had stuff on it - her beanbag, her dog...
Described the style of the bed and color of the room...
She went in and the bed was empty she asked The Damon if he had seen her - - if she was sleeping in Derrick's room - - The Damon said she was in her room...
Checked bathroom, under bed and in other rooms - - she and The Damon checked the house - frantic...
The Damon was checking too - outside...
Then called 911...
Brenda got up approx 8:25am...showered and dressed and started breakfast. Other kids were due at the VD home at 9:30. While starting breakfast, these kids arrive. A few minutes after their arrival is when Danielle was discovered missing. Did the other kids arrive early? If we know the 911 call was made at approximately 10:00 and try to go back from there...at what time did they find Danielle missing?

The girl was told she could go wake up Danielle - - but she didn't - - she went to play with the boys. She went to her room - her door was all the way open - her bed had stuff on it - her beanbag, her dog.
Note her door was all the way open. Brenda stated when she arrived home with her friends at 2:10 she went to make sure the kids doors were shut.
Danielle was taken out of the home AFTER The Damon and Brenda went to sleep.
DW entered the home before Brenda arrived home.her bed had stuff on it bean bag and dog.
The police took these things for evidence. Wasn't there a rumor that there was blood on the beanbag?
Wonder if Danielle normally slept with her beanbag? Doesn't seem like an item she would want to have in her bed. I take it this was a small bean bag? Did she normally use it as a pillow?

The VD's have covered their ass's with alibi's all over the map.

Now, we can consider the "bean bag" defense.

Are we to believe that if by chance someone looked in her room, they THOUGHT they might have seen Danielle in bed, but WAIT, come to think of it, it was the bean bag?" That'll work!

Now, we also can consider that Danielle was a "heavy sleeper". OK, so this means she could have been carried out of the house, still sleeping...as only an earthquake could have stirred her? But we've covered our ass again, by saying "she sleeped-walked" That will work also, just in case the police didn't "buy" the heavy sleeper alibi..as in a plan B..go from kidnapped to she sleep-walked out of the house. You gotta give the VD's credit, they are clever...All bases covered, no less.

Then, we find out, that the poor child only sleep-walked a couple of times, by the prince of Liars, Damon himself. And WHERE did she sleep walk too? "The bathroom" Come on people, the VD's can't prove that she sleep-walked to the bathroom. Damon had to testify she sleep-walked somewhere, so the bathroom sounded plausible..tsk, tsk.

The van Dams have more alibi's than swiss cheese has holes.

Wouldn't Brenda and Damon have noticed Danielle's bedroom door opened when they went by it in the morning to go downstairs?

Why? Who says? The VD's?
Could Brenda have not noticed the door opened? If the door was opened, like the little girl said, why didn’t Brenda notice?

What was it really like in the morning at the VD house.
