Yeh, it's beginning to sound like a broken record, and his stance on Arafat is absolutely wrong.

Great info......thanks!

He is kind of like teachers that I had in school a long time ago. The first nine weeks they talk tough and the students who are likely to cause problems are somewhat in check and in a probing and testing mode. Then gradually the next thing you know the students are in control of the class without the teacher knowing it. And it gets much worse from there. The teacher and his good intentions are seeking employment elsewhere for the next school year.

Hey, thanks for taking the edge off from time to time.
I don't know what we'd do if we couldn't laugh on occasion in this Theatre of the Absurd.

Thanks Askel, I may have to get another job, I'm being accused of posting "porn" in the forum...

LOL. Great post.

I searched the thread and I don't see any accusations right here where they can stand the test of public scrutiny.
Say it ain't so, friend!

hey they are bad guys still, just ones we paid for, paid off and China lose MUCH FACE over.

"We are giving North Korea hundreds of millions of dollars in fuel and food while they are spending the same amount bolstering their military. If ever there was an insane policy, this is it."
We shoudl cease helping communism -- economically, diplomatically or in any other way. Every time communism enter upon a crisis -- as it continues to do -- we step in and [help] it over the hump. We should ship NO goods to Red China, the Soviet Union or, except in circumstances CERTAIN to help the free world, to any satellite.
If we must make a moral issue of this and say that not to feed hungry humans is oiut of line with traditional American kindness and generosity, let us consider several moral factors on the other side of the question:
How do we know for what purpose this food will be used?
Let us remember that Communists at times, deliberately create famines in order to destroy an element of race so that Russians can move into the victims' homes. And let us be aware that food sent to the starving in communist countries too often winds up being sold on the world market.
Hungary revolted and there were serious riots in Poland in 1956 because the Soviet bosses were stripping these breadbaskets bare of food to feed their own people. In any case, how can we defend fastening the shackles tighter on the prisoners of the Communists by providing food to the Reds? The attempted mass flight from China to avoid starvation, the frantic exodus out of East Germany (until halted by the building of The Wall), the rising food prices in Russia, show the present condition of agriculture under practicing socialism.
Finally, let us remember that the instinct of self-preservation is basic. Let us not feed the tiget who is lying in wait for us, because we make him strong enough to eat us later.
Kluckhohn, The Naked Rise of Communism (1962; 259-260).

You mean that you took him seriously when he made that speech?
Let's talk about genetics.
You see, Baby Bush has a daddy from whom he got his genetic makeup. Poppa Bush used to make speeches too.
Maybe you remember on that went something like this:
READ MY LIPS! NO NEW TAXES
Like Father Like Son.
To: NittanyLion
Who's making those accusations? Someone who hasn't the nuts to do it in public.
(Not to mention someone who's just as confused as our courts and our sick society on what is -- and is not -- pornographic Free Speech.)

Obviously there are big bucks to be made if your part of the Axis. Are they taking applications?
To: Askel5
Someone who hasn't the nuts to do it in public. Yep. If Registered didn't have the stature he holds on this forum, you can bet he'd be getting flamed bigtime. Instead, people make cheap comments via private mail - because they know he's absolutely correct. Pathetic.

I heard this afternoon, maybe on Hardball, Howard Fineman of Newsweek said that Bush's new tough attitude toward Israel is coming from pressure from elitists such as EU's, State Dept. (Powell), etc. and not the populace of U.S. He said that obviously the elitists are winning the argument. Note to GW: GET A SET!!
