Yes, that's definitely a component. Christianity runs counter to the ideals of socialism, so destroying Christianity is a step in centralising everything. I'm sure there's a paganistic streak in many of these people, with all the mother earth garbage and all, but the mainstream movement is political, not theological in my estimation.

I am not saying that the Environmental movement is not political. I am saying that it is more than just political. It is a form of mind control, brainwashing, replacing religious morally correct thought with politically correct thought, to advance a political agenda.
