My wife and I and two of our sons will be among the representatives from SD 26 in San Antonio. We might be the family with the largest representation. We may be giving some friends a ride so we may not have any seats left for others. Does anyone know of any special issues that may come up this convention? It may be a very boring convention with little controversy. Maybe this is best. With a Democrat who may have have enough of his own money to buy the governorship and a minority Democrat who may bring a lot of Democrats to the polls this year, many otherwise safe Republican offices may be in jeopardy. Unity and hard work are very important. I once got a copy of a Democrat state party agenda. They had a lot of workshops on activism and getting out the vote. This may be a good idea for us too. At the last convention we passed changes to rule 43 on a Candidate Platform Review. Does anyone know how this worked out in practice or if it was even put into practice?
