Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Doris Kearns Goodwin has volunteered to write some "original" wedding vows for the couple to recite? ROFLMBO ... that was a good one

So "President Clinton" seemed glad that his daughter met a decent man, eh?
Finally!

If there is a wedding, you know darn well that the Klintoons will have everything "donated". It will probably cost them very little if anything. You know that they never pay for anything! Take care and God Bless.

Can anyone tell me why this should matter?

""...glad that his daughter found a decent man." A joke, right?"
Are there degrees of decency?

Teddy's planning on model a new garment for men from designer Frank Costanza. Name to be determined but the hot running candidates are "the mansierre" or "the bro"...

Compared to Bubba, anyone'd seem decent, one guesses.
Hmm.
Along time ago in the Army I had a conversation with a black barracks mate. I'm white.
"What if you' daughter dated a black man?" he asked, when I was still even years from meeting her mother.
"Well, I'd want him to be a good man," I answered. And believed.
But, "Oh!" he protested. "He'd have to be a good black man!"
I was kind'a taken aback.
"He'd have to be a good black man!" he repeated, seemingly in accusation.
But then, I thought.
And blurted: "Well.... Yeah! I'd rather she'd be with a good black man than a bad black man."
Sheet!
From there, I think we went back to Army stuff....

Can we think of some engagement gifts for the happy couple? Given what I've seen of young Ian's machismo, the Bride better hope her gift comes with batteries.

I was once again banned apparently because of my support for two basic principles. Does the M stand for "martyr"?
