Clinton Daughter to Announce Wedding Engagement in June
San Francisco Examiner ^ | Week of April 4, 2002 | P.J. Corkery

Posted on 04/07/2002 11:26:22 AM PDT by codebreaker

Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.

Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'

The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12

Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.

Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June

In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

As long as we're paying the freight for these people, we have a right to criticize their actions all we want.

When I think of Chelsea dragging the USSS to all of these "miss school for fashion shows, lakeside property in Northern Italy, and weekends in Santo Domingo,London and Manhattan with Daddy" trips,I have to wonder two things; How long is the public going to stand the Clintons continued fleecing of US taxpayers, even out of office? How can you possibly complete the Oxford course if you are never there? Plus we all know that she doesnt need USSS protection,a picture of her mother and father in the 70's would keep even vampires away.

Wow, that sounds even sillier the more you think about it.

What's really silly are all of these obviously planted media stories about Chelsea Clinton.
Hillary's! office staffers sure are busy little bees these days. The Mideast is in turmoil,
our nation is at war following terrorist attacks on our own shores, and CC is set to
"announce her wedding engagement in June". LOL!

I found the perfect wedding dress too! The link is expired so I can't post it yet, but it was in one of the Paris shows; it's an Yves St. Laurent, it's perfect for her. I'm getting a posting site set up soon, so will post then.

Exactly! How much airfare, overtime and hassle are the Secret Service going to for her trips around the Globe?

Oh yes please let's have a fashion show for Chelsea to pick out her 'special' gown for that treasured day.

Only in the interest of helping her, of course!

Can we think of some engagement gifts for the happy couple?

Not really into engagement gifts but for the wedding a basket of oats, some carrots, sugar cubes, a feed bag, and a nice stall for their wedding evening would be nice for the bride, A 10 dollar hooker for the father of the bride, a new designer broom for the brides mom.

Not sure what to get for the groom and his family except cards expressing our condolences.

These two are away from Oxford more than they are in it

How many days of classes have they missed?

Actually, I think it was in the Star.

Actually I think the Philadelphia Inquire reported a little problem Chelsea had here once while she was visiting friends ..

I'm hoping one of the Bush twins gets married at the White House. Wouldn't that just kill the liberals? They would have to have a paramedic team standing by to cart Hillary off when the announcement was made.

The Labor Day rules have been relaxed so a white Hefty bag wouldn't raise eyebrows

Chels' will be wearing a two bagger over her face so the guests don't hurl on the expensive carpet.
