President Bush welcomed British Prime Minister Tony Blair to the Western White House today for talks about the current crisis in the Middle East. The meeting was initially supposed to be about Iraq, but has taken a detour given recent events in Israel. In an interview with Granada television, however, Bush made it clear that Saddam Hussein has to go (see the QotD). Enjoy the daily dose of Dubya!

I will be up watching. I am addicted to all ceremonial trappings, plus I really liked the Queen Mother. You must watch it with your mom, who no doubt remembers their tour to the USA in 1939.
Sitting on my desk is a commemorative tin labeled "Souvenir of Their Majesties' Visit, 1939" with King George and Queen Elizabeth's pictures on it.

"Look at Blair .. He looks like a little kid who is happy as all get out to spend the weekend at The President's Ranch ... I can't remember Blair having that happy look when he visited Clinton ..." I was thinking the same thing, especially with this one....
I would just love to know what set up this shot!
To: Mo1
I love the look on Blair's face in this one too, like he's saying, 'Oh goody! Dubya said I can drive his truck!' And Dubya is saying back to the press, 'NOT!'
To: Howlin
No, long gloves are for evening attire. Black gloves are considered proper, and you must wear a HAT.

ohioWfan, Sorry to hear you were assaulted like that. I'm glad the remarks were pulled. I wish I was there to defend you. You, along with the majority of the people who post on this thread are what makes this forum so much better than all the other political websites.

Signed. :-)

Nope, but I will guarantee that Dubya takes him on the "Grand Tour" of the Ranch. He will also take him to the Crawford Coffee Shop. And there will be a few steaks cooked on the grille.

Now that's funny! You even supplied me a possible scenario for the set-up!

Maybe they're smiling because they got to ride with Condi? I think the guys think she's much more fun to look at and listen to than most passengers they've been stuck with.
To: rintense
Not to be the grouch here, you know how much I love your pictures, but does he not have to wear a seatbelt?
To: Mo1
OH MO1 yeah I could imagine Dubya playing CD Rom disks in his pick up truck I could imagine Dubya downloaded some Charley Daniels or Alambama Songs From Music City.com Antiter.com
