Personally, I'm not likely to believe whatever a big city newspaper says is in the hearts and minds of cops. Or anyone else.
I think I read somewhere that folks in USC Law are doing research on what really goes on in law enforcement minds....the crooked cops, the overly zealous, the gun plants, the lazy, the bigoted, the agenda freaks. Damn, where did I read that...............based on the INS coming into small towns, organizing a big bust with the local cops, then when the courts come in with blatant travesties of justice, the feds boogie and let the local badges take the heat, pay the fines, do the time, etc. Gilbert Arizona was a prime example.
