When I was in H.S in the 60's this happened on a regular basis. It was usually someone from another school who wanted their boyfriend/girlfriend released early. Sure we got out of school early but we had one very long walk home. Nobody had a Mother who drove back then and most of us didn't even have driver's liscenses.

It's really not necessary for this teacher to do something like this. They simply need to negotiate for another 3-5 days off during the spring. After all, when it comes to public schools, everyone knows it's all about the teachers.
