I am not an expert on this, but I can tell you that the ROTC program is EXCELLENT! My (step)son is in the Air Force ROTC at the University of Oklahoma and he loves it. He plans on making a career of the Air Force. The ROTC really becomes a family and they are very supportive of the cadets. They watch their grades and get them help if they see that they are having trouble in any classes. They also give them discipline and guidance. (Although, I'm still waiting for him to learn how to make a bed and clean his room. I tried to teach him, I was hoping the Air Force could teach him. LOL) He really is having a BLAST!

Well, for all his fine qualities, I'm not sure anyone can get my son to make his bed and clean his room (I just make sure there's a path there in case I need to get anything)! That will be the hardest thing about boot camp for him! LOL!

And thanks for the word on ROTC.
