I suspect, Israel will have moved out of the west bank towns, just prior to Sec Powell's arrival. The question is, will the suicide bombings start up again?

Israel just refuses to drop dead, hmmmm how obstinate of them.
Bush refuses to maintain any semblance of credibility.

The call for withdrawl is simply to give Powell some credibility with the Arabs. We will need their help to make a ceasefire work. It is nothing more.

Israel is very wicked, when attacked it dares to fight back much to the displeasure of the "international public opinion." Don't they know that it is their duty to die at the hands of the very sane members of the religion of peace?

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon says the military siege in Palestinian towns will continue despite US President George W Bush's call for an Israeli pullout. Oh well...Bush tried.
It's not his fault if that naughty Sharon won't listen.
Even after the UN unanimously fell in line with the Bush position.Imagine that! LOL.
Bush is a fox.

Israel is not the country Bush is defending. Ariel Sharon will be accountable to Israel's voters if he fails to smash the PLO AND expel Arafat from the Jewish State. Sharon will point to Powell Israel demonstrated restraint before only to be repaid with the slaughter of 125 dead Jews in the last month. No one in Israel wants to go through that situation again so Israel's government for the moment could care less about world opinion.

Israel ignores Bush withdrawal callGood. Just as I would expect Bush to ignore Sharon if he said we must stop our incursions into Afghanistan.
I, for one, abhor doublestandards almost as much as I do terrorists.

If there is to be peace in the middle east, I can tell you without a doubt that Israel is strong enough to make the peace, keep the peace, and make dang sure that peace breaks out in that region, after the last wacko muslim extremist is buried. I applaud Israel fo their conscience of their convictions.

Israel has won wars handily in the past, but did it stop terrorism? Nope. One thing Ariel Sharon can be counted on is hard-headedness, which is supposed to result in some illusory Israeli "victory," but it seems to me that Sharon is creating a whole new set of problems for Israel and endangering Israel's future like never before. Sharon's hardheadedness is probably the best "recruiting tool" for new suicide bombers and other terrorists in the past 50 years. Sharon desperately needs to broaden his horizons with respect to military strategy to include some "soft" strategies to go along with his hard strategy, which is backfiring, actually endangering Israel, harming Israel's reputation, and resulting in a 333% rise in Israelis' death rate.
