How about getting 2 R&R's in Nam because several of us were transfered several times and the only record of an R&R that went with us was our shot records...all we did was get new shot records after we "lost" ours....
Or "sitting in" for our officer who was out of town in Nam...the NCOIC had me chew out a guy for changing his permanent records.....only time I got saluted...
Or changing the height on the records of a sargent so he couldn't go to drill sargent school....
Or throwing gravel on the tin roof of the Senior NCO hootch at 2 in the morning....
Or making whistling sounds while watching movies outside at night....All I can think of right now...
Here's one we pulled on the comand hooch while in Bridgeport for mountain training. The MRE's were coming with meal warmers that basically was a chemical reaction when water was added..The things got damn hot, but also produced a sh*t load of "vapor" or "gas" or whaterver ya want to call them..Well, a few of us took a two liter empty coke bottle, crushed up a few of these meal warmers and put the "grounds" in the two liter. We added the water when we got to the command hooch..We (silently) left hte two liter under the tent and made our escape..About ten minutes later, the bottle bursted due to the heat and pressure build up of the gasses. It sounded like an 81mm mortar landed right there on the hooch..Sufficed to say, command was not happy...
