I will not forget that ABC TV anchor Peter Jennings questioned President Bush's motives for not returning immediately to Washington, DC and commented, "We're all pretty skeptical and cynical about Washington."
I will not forget Peter Jennings wondering how the workers, firemen, and police at ground zero would respond to Bush's visit. Jennings claimed that those men and women were union and most likely didn't vote for or support Bush.
Yea, I could see the dislike for the president with iron workers trying to give him bear hugs, etc.
I won't forget how those same workers were called drunken right wingers, who probably listen to Rush Limbaugh, then had the nerve to boo ol' crusty off the stage.
