I try to explain. C/ID-ists make a point of misunderstanding, forgetting, not seeing, never knowing.
Or maybe just disagreeing. Or reserving judgement.
You describe -- and show photos of fossils -- depicting ancient bird-like creatures which you say are transitory between dinosaurs and birds. You make a case and it's not foolishness and other respectable people hold the same opinion. But just because I don't sign on doesn't mean I am basing my opinion on a emotionally driven unwillingness to accept "the truth."
We don't know that those creatures' ancestors were dinosaurs. It's speculation. If someone were to find a fossil of a bat 1 million years from now, never having seen one would they speculate that it was a transition between bird and mammal? Some would, I speculate.
