You go on and on but I see no proof from you that light reaching earth now from objects millions and billions of light years away is really only 6,000 years old.

I find it easier to ask about my opponents positions rather than assume. Too often in heated debates over controversial subjects both sides assume too many false generalizations about the other. In this case many who support evolution assume that all of their opponents are Biblical creationists (medved is not) and those who oppose evolution often assume that their opponents are all atheists. Unfortunately, some stubborn people refuse to accept that there are non-Biblical creationists or that there are evolution accepters who are also theists.

Go back and read the post I responded to. He quoted my 6,000 year old universe statement. He is the one who is argueing with my claims of a very old Universe and the rareity of fossils.

I guess I am behind the times becaue I've never heard of this Gore guy before. So, I can only go by what he is posting presently. And I read no claims of him being a special varient of Creationists in this thread. I've only read his accusations that everyhting I say is false.
