Thanks. I've always thought that the biggest obsticle to getting getting people to open up their eyes is the cognitive dissonance that it required for many people to do so. Once the association is made in people's minds that these evil deeds are being done in their name, the same as if they were pulling the trigger or stealing somone's property, it helps a lot.

I shudder to think of the evil perpetrated daily by men and women with no sense of personal responsibility. The "I have to do it because it is the law" didn't help the fellows in Neurenberg(sp?), but it's perfectly o.k. for cops/social workers/teachers and other unthinking individuals to make the same claim.

Then, we also have people who will proudly strap on the jackboots because they never believe the evil will be visited upon them. It's always the other fellow who will suffer the insanity of the mob.

What you are seeing in airports today is exactly the result of mass insanity on the part of people who have had the freedom-loving instincts beaten out of them.
