Minister of Finance and National Economy Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf said today that the Saudi government has to date given a total of SR 8.9 billion [U.S. $2.37 billion] in aid to the government and people of Palestine

And the Saudis only gave Clinton $20 million or so for his library, and a few hundred thousand for his speech a few weeks back.

We need oil. Saudis have billions in our banks. We are tied together, the nations of the "free" world.

President G H W Bush did as solid a job driving Saddam out of Kuwait as anyone could. The rest is leftist drivel...permeating the press and rewriting history until even "conservatives" buy the lies.

I can't help but think that the transnational terrorists cannot be stopped without a confrontation between the US and the Muslim states over their support of the terrorists. I can understand our current temporizing as long as it is part of a long term plan to end the sickness which has invaded the Muslim world, and the governments of Muslim nations. It won't be pretty, but unfortunately, it must happen for our welfare, and in fact, for the welfare of the people of the Muslim nations.

The above cites are taken directly from the Saudi Embassy USA web site. Is that drivel?

Or has cocktail hour started early this evening?
