Oooo, she's HOT..er, I mean the prison cell she's sitting in his hot.
Actually, at night, the temperature in Loris high-altitude Peruvian prison drops well below freezing, and she has only a thin, ineffectual blanket to keep her warm. This would certainly qualify as cruel, if not unusual, punishment.
I wonder if our resident constitutional scholar, reprobate_mind, can figure out why her eighth amendment rights are being so routinely ignored.

That picture was taken in Afghanistan, where the US Constitution does not apply
We agree. And that's scary. :)

I dunno, he looks prepped and ready for delivery, but that was way back when childbirth was considered cruel and unusual punishment I guess. Nothing much here, except a wounded man on a cot with restraints. Awful, just awful.

I was under the impression that he was an American citizen being tried in the American court system. He clearly has no desire to be an American, he should be treated like all of the other taliban members, and shouldn't receive any special treatment because he used to be an American. I don't even like to see him referred to as an American.

That is why I used a little humor on him.
Even if he is new, the big concern for the traitor is so typical of a small group of so called patriots on FR.'
They never say anything about those 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11, they are just worried about the so called constitution rights of the killers, their allies and other scum in America who would off our families in a blink.
As you noted, Johnny Jihad as per his passport had voided his citizenship. They should have taken him prisoner, loaded him up with Versed to find out what he knew about al Qeada and turned him over to the Afghans he had been shooting at. The moment we start letting the attacked countries/people render justice to these scumbags, that is when we have no legal problems at home.
I want to know who is funding his very expensive lawyers.

You still haven't told us how this violates the Constitution.
To: Freetus
Nope. You forgot that he never identified himself as an American when he was captured. They only found out about it during the interregation and then had to recapture him after the prison uprising in the drainage area.

Two thoughts:
Why didn't they stick a rag or something in his pie hole?
And I notice they left his fingers free so he could at least......

Hey, reprobate.
Don't forget to remind all the fascists that our rights are self-evident and inalienable. I love all the "patriots" who seem eager to point out that our constitution "grants" these rights.
LOL!
"Ummm.... State? Will you grant me some rights? I could use some... I promise not to call you bad names!" - voice of the sheeple

It would be pretty smart if his lawyers stopped trying to defend him. After all, if he gets off, there is nowhere on this earth where he'll be safe. There are too many good Americans who would just LOVE to go Taliban hunting. This guy is a dead man walking, his only hope for life is if he manages to get life.

LOL and duct tape = compassionate conservatism.

" So, if you hate the constitution, work to change it!"
You have got to be kidding!!! we are only stating the obvious. When Johnny Jihad bacame a military opponent of this country, he ceased to be treated like a civilian. He is under the laws of a Military tribunal, the same as if he were to join our military.

"Which is why his clothes had to be immediately removed for delousing & his arms held down lest he blow the interrogating officer away with his Islamic BO."
ISLAMIC BO.... PEW, THAT'S RICH!
