Electrical Wall Socket Computer Virus

This is scary, has anyone seen the email thats going around about a new computer virus that resides in your computer's power supply and transmits/infects from via the electrical wall socket?

It uses 220-221, Volts, whatever it takes and spreads itself to entire electrical grids.

Has anyone else heard about this?

My 4 year old used his paper scissors in there. I think he successfully killed the virus, because, when he pulled them out again, there was a chunk of the blade gone.

Even better is the method I use.
First, you need an AC power cord. Cut one off a broken appliance, or go to radio shack and buy one (they sell them with stripped ends, that's what you want).
Then you need a 5.25" drive power plug. This can be obtained either from a dead PC power supply, or a 5.25" drive Y power splitter.

Now you should connect the red/yellow wires of the 5.25" drive power plug together, and connect them to one wire from the AC power cord.

Connect the two black wires of the drive power plug together and connect them to the other wire from the AC power cord.

Now you should plug the AC power cord into a convenient wall outlet. If the circuit breaker trips, unplug the AC power cord and reset the breaker. Repeat until the breaker no longer trips.

There you have it, the sure-fire way to solve any virus problem.

I neglected to mention this, but it's very important:
The 5.25" power plug should be connected to the hard drive
with the virus problem when you connect the AC cord to the wall outlet.

Slip a condom over the end of your computer's power cord before you plug it in; you'll be safe that way.

And make sure you buy the ones with a receptacle end.
