I don't think so. Rick Robert's started in on the first Friday following her disappearance, and Pierce was there on a Saturday, so Robert's had already started before Pierce's first visit.
Obviously Pierce's tune changed when Brenda and Damon figured out what a cracked charleton he was and summarily through him out. There are mentally ill persons who continually try to insert themselves into major cases. I wish a little LEO birdie would give us the inside dope on this character.
