Well if the rest of the states North of the Mason-Dixie Line are like Michigan, they've been complaining for years.

I know that Michiganders are farther ahead on the curve than the rest of the Northeast Quarter, but there's still a remarkable amount of obtuse regionalism on the matter of Illegals.

These people would have a snit at the sound of those horrid sirens if their neighbor's house was burning.

Read some North Carolina and Virginia newspapers online. It may not be on the front page, but WE KNOW and have known for several years! It is the topic of conversation even in extremely liberal minded private converstations. THEY bring it up! Yes, I do have contact with several Democrats/liberals and they ain't happy. I'm talking Sierra Club, gay bar, etc. card carrying members. (that comment is not a figure of speach, but fact) The anger crosses political, racial, gender and whatever lines you can think of.
