I suppose any knowledgable claim should be checked out but.........I have a BIG problem with researchers who say, "I did it!.......But, I'm not going to tell you how. Its a secret!"

Depend on a journalist to blow something small entirely out of proportion. This thing cost relative p-nuts for NASA, and if it works they get a hugh payoff. It's probably bunkum, but they've got to test it.
Oh, and the reporter needs to realize that if it works the way this guy claims it should, gravitational mass would be decreased, but not inertial mass. ><
