I agree 100 percent! Geez, just since I went shopping, it's MUCH better, with the poll moved to the left and the flag graphic gone! I liked the flags, but I realize for some people they were too much of a drag!

Oh..come on...give it a bit of time. It bugged me getting hit sorta out of the blue. (Not really cuz the beta was up for wuite a while) But as the day has worn on it's been improving quite a bit! Has anyone else noticed John and jim appear to be paying attention to the comments and implimenting some of the suggestions?

For one thing the pretty, patriotic but annoying and bandwidth wasting graphic has gone away. Plus the poll question has been moved. That was a biggie for me cuz I like my Breaking news at the top.

I'm still not crazy about the three column approach because I have somewhat poor eyesight, but I can fix that at my end with a simple screen adjustment. I should probably be running 640x480 anyway...sigh.

There also is a VERY serious concern about alienating or confusing newbies or those not adept at computing. The jury is still out on that, but overall I'm gettin gused to the new format and have incorporated some of the new functions.
