No poll, vote or certain amount of whining will get the old FR back. Jim worked way too hard to just scrap it. Make recommendations or improvements, not just whimpering complaints.

Sometimes, just sometimes, whiners are right. This is one of them.

You make him sound like a girl who just can't leave the man she ought to.
Improvement - make the old interface available for the disgruntled. (Even above-referenced girl has sense to string some other nice guy along.)

Okay, it's probably right in front of me but, how do I do a search for someone else? For example: if I wanted to look up all the things that 'smith288' had posted how would I do that?

I started posting on FR in '98 and I had been lurking for quite some before
that and every time he upgraded and changed the format, I always said I hated it, I would never
get used to it, and I wanted the old one back. But just like any change,
eventually one sees the benefits and adjusts.
Actually, I'm beginning to like this one already.

Why can't we keep the "pretty", but put the old format back? Integrate the two. The comments here are running about 95% against the new format. It's like buying a pretty new car that's a lemon. Sure doesn't run as smoothly as the old one.

What was this built with? (P.s. I like it- just needs a few tweeks...)
