Gold, Jim and John need to understand and develop a profitable financial model for this place ... one major benefit of the "cover charge" is the up front cash flow of a understandable income stream, and the information neccesary to invest in network, computing plannable network requirement. If 8000 people pay $25 each, that's $200,000 up front, and there can be a downsizing of the infrastructure and network expenses. It's plannable.

And, I'm just surly enough to expect EVERYONE here to throw a $20 into the mail for the services and value realized here. $20 bucks??? There's no excuse for not contributing, but we know the numbers.

I don't like individuals who use anothers assets to insinuate bile and resentment and cynicism into the prevailing discourse. You got a problem, that's why we are here. Let's identify it thouroughly ... ok, that's enough. Don't nobody come back until you've thought out a solution and an action plan we all can employ. Otherwise ... don't bother.

I'm outta here ... have a wonderful holiday sir! Peace, love, sacrifice, commitment, enlightenment ... all the good stuff comes together round this time. Regards!

Have a great weekend. =]

( I still say you lose people in the long run by not allowing them to see what they'd be buying first. Charge for registration & posting privledges, but not access. =])
