People who criticize Bush are not anti-conservative. Being a conservative doesn't mean falling dead faint at a leader's feet no matter what political label he/she has. Remember, we have a representative government and those we elect are there to serve us and uphold the law. We should not be washing the feet of our leaders as they are servants of the people. The only leader I would fall at the feet of is the King of Kings. Even the Savior of the World became a servant by washing the feet of the apostles.

No one said we couldn't disagree to agree. I fought like mad as did Rush and many of you here to get CFR vetoed. In the end President Bush did what he thinks is right and the court will finish off the bad parts, they might even throw the whole thing out. The Democrats have given us the issue to hang them with this fall, and that is most of them voted to take away Free Speech during an election and they did it while we are fighting for our very lives from people who do want to kill us all. That is what must be hammered home against the demorats every single day.

Their plan to win seems to have the help of their liberal comme media and the stories they write. Read their plan and I can show you so many stories the last few days that go hand in hand with this. Yes enron did not go as planned for the democrats but they are still trying to use it. Like a fire that simmers.

Don't let the rats use apathy through disillusion to shot ourselves in the foot in November.

Can't disagree with you there, and I certainly have been critical of Bush on a number of issues. My beef is that there are plenty of people here who are either hypocrites or liars---hypocrites in that they say "I'll never vote Republican again" then do so on the basis of some other issue that catches their fancy---or liars in that they have no intention of abandoning Bush for any other party, but just like to cause a fuss.

Just for the record: I have called one senator, my representative, e-mailed and called the White House, and e-mailed a contact I have inside the Bush administration on the issue of CFR . . . to no avail. My senators both voted "right" anyway. And by the way, I found it interesting that both my senators---DeWine and Voinovich---who are not considered "hard right" have voted right on CFR, taxes, and the Clinton conviction. Yet I don't see any of these whining people on FR starting threads celebrating their "allegience" to the conservative cause! (You are totally right about the King. You know that scripture, "every tongue will confess, and every knee shall bow?" Osama Bin Laden will bow, Bill Clinton will bow, Louis Farrakhan and Muhammad Ali will bow. They HAVE to. We GET to :)
