I have a lot of Pine tree sapplings on my property. Consumer's Energy is coming to remove an entire row of my Pine trees to protect powerlines, and if I don't replant the sapplings, they'll kill them too. Trust me, I fought ConEng tooth and nail about my trees, but I lost. At least I get to keep the wood chips.
