I never said this wasn't a great move politically. I just said this was a bad move morally. And given the choice I choose sticking to my principles over something that was politically expedient. If we're going to claim the moral high ground then we can't be doing sh-t like this.

And furthermore, if I give someone my word on something, even if it's a pinhead like Howlin or someone else, then I damn well better stick to it. If I have to stick to those rules than so does GW Bush.
