Just a little point of fact here, since facts matter. The bill President Bush signed is not the same as the bill candidate Bush said he would veto. There were some compromises made during mark-up.
Well, if this kind of hair splitting is what is important to you, I have nothing to counter your comment with. I guess I have some naive thoughts about what the meaning of "is", is, and apparently equally naive beliefs about what responsibilities the oath of office of the President of the United States means.
Silly me. I guess that merely changing a word in an unconstitutional bill gets Bush off the hook for being a liar. What a country!
