I think this could be the best thing that could happen. Wipe the slate clean, get rid of Arafat and his two-faced pandering, and get rid of Sharon's ineffective leadership. What, is Hamas going to launch more suicide attacks than they are already? Is whomever replaces Sharon going to be LESS effective at gaining peace (one way or the other)?
