It is likely that the 20 million corpses in the Mediterranean would touch off a plague which could kill hundreds of millions of people in Europe and North Africa and leave hundreds of millions of survivors too weak to participate in the economic system

I don't know that's a bunch of water and it's full of hungry fish.

Without getting too graphic might I suggest that the result of all of those bodies in the sea would be to make the waters of the Mediterranean poisonous to all life. The bodies of the dead fish of the Mediterranean would also be covering the shores of that sea, adding to the filth, poison, and disease. This is not a nice picture.

I'm here in the Old City of Jerusalem. I want to take the opportunity before the Shabbos begins to thank some of the good people here.

First I want to say to DJ88 that I don't think many of us Israelis are "up for this". But this war is not of our making. Not in the conventional sense that is.

There are many out there who understand that, even though the illusion is contrary to the truth, this is not a political war. It is not a military war. Where the true battle is being fought is on high. This is a spiritual war. There is tons to say on the subject, but there is not much time, or emotional energy, as this day which did not start at sun rise, but was through the night listening and praying in concern for our brothers and sisters in Alon Moray, where a terrorists killed four Jews in their own home.

Jontron is correct in remembering that the Temple Mount is just that…the Mount where the Holy Temple, Beit Hamigdash stood.

If you read over the original article again, you might notice how it was written. Most people are on the fly. They do not have time to read full stories, so they read headlines and glance at the first paragraph. You will notice that the slant is totally anti-Semitic.

1) Israeli police storm Jerusalem's most contested holy site = The headline declares that Israel perpetrated an aggressive act.

2) Israeli police have stormed into the most sensitive religious site in the Holy Land, throwing stun grenades at Palestinian rock-throwers, police said. = again, the Israelis are portrayed as the offending aggressor.

3) After Friday prayers at the Al Aqsa Mosque on the disputed hilltop in the Old City of Jerusalem, Palestinian youths started throwing rocks at Israeli police posted at a gate just outside, and at Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall below, police said. = Not until the third element is it revealed that there was an event that precipitated the Israeli police action. Namely, youth throwing rocks.

Have anyone of you ever seen “rocks” that these youths (16, 17, 18yr old teens) throw? Living in the Old City, a stones throw (pardon the expression) from the Western Wall, I can tell you that the first time I saw them I was shocked, thinking the same as you….rocks being perhaps palm size. NO. TRY AS BIG OR BIGGER THAN BRICKS. These monsters can, and have, killed. We are talking self-defense here, folks.

Again, thanks to you here who have a head and heart screwed on. And YES, PRAYERS are the only way to go. We have been at war for a year and a half, but finally our Israeli government recognizes what the people knew. Bokar Tov. (Hebrew translation, Good Morning, gentlemen)

I will, G-d willing be giong to the Kottel (Western Wall) to pray as I do every Shabbos (Friday) evening. May all my holy brothers and sisters in Israel be able to beseech our Heavenly Father for Divine protection and be allowed easy and safe access to our most holiest places for prayer, unlike the tomb of our Mother Rachel where we take our life in our hands to cry there, and our brother Joseph’s (the Righteous) grave in Shcem which is closed to us.
