The question that I can't find an answer to is are we the Great Whore recorded in Revelation, the one that has fallen from her position with God? She rides a beast, the US rides and attempts to control the U.N., the beast will hate her and destroy her in one hours time, the U.N. is full of our enemies, and it seems to be the anti-Christ that covertly plans her destruction with three men, perhaps in the U.N. who have recieved no kingdom, but will be given one by the anti-Christ.
It would be easy to believe that Ben Laden might go to Iran/Iraq/ N. Korea, and make such plans, or use people in the shadows, such as members of the Russian mafia that are seeking power, and make promises to them if they give him control of their nations nuclear power for one hour in order to accomplish his goal of our destruction. Perhaps Ben Laden is an example also.
I find it all interesting, and I think God intends for us to study and watch for the return of Jesus, I don't think it's anything to dwell on in fear though.
Not a one of them would be free to take my position, even if he felt it justified, because he would lose his cushy job and perks.
If you could show me one of them that AGREED with me, I might reconsider that point, to see if I needed to CHANGE!

I think that if you go around correcting people for their grammar things will go very, VERY hard for you around here. Most people despise having their spelling or punctuation corrected, no matter how egregious they may be. I have to tell you that there are some rather thuggish types who delight in following people who are excessively picky about these things around from thread to thread, much as you have followed me.
I do not associate with them much, because I sometimes correct very bad spelling, or at least inquire as to confusing meanings. In addition, as you know, I sometimes point out the requirements which the owner of the forum has imposed on his guests, such as you and I. I wish you good luck, should you persevere in this desire to act as the forum grammarian, because you will need it.

I guess you have read this by now, but my confusion on this matter has been cleared up, but we are now worried, because that was the reason we thought that American in Israel has not posted since early Wednesday morning (at least not at the time of the postings you noted). Since that is not true we are concerned about him.
One of these rules is that you are not supposed to take an argument you have been having with another freeper on one thread, and start arguing about it on another thread, especially if these threads are contemporaneous. This is for two reasons, one is that everyone else on the thread will have no chance to know what you are talking about, and the other is to reduce rancor.
I see that the next part of my note is a little(?) confusing, but I was referring to the fact that your first post to me here made a reference to our discussion on the other thread, which would not be readily understandable to other Freepers. Yes, you identified my member since date, but since it is a middling membership length, there would be no point to this, unless someone knew about our discussion on the other thread.

I'm thinking that you made a little typo here! Whatever you mean, there are a lot of good, conservative Christian scholars who disagree with you. Would you like to show me all the passages in the Bible that refer to the rapture? Fine. That should be quick reading.For what it's worth, I lean towards a belief in a pre-trib rapture, but even more, I believe that "the main things are the plain things and the plain things are the main things" when it comes to the Bible. The Bible speaks so little of the rapture and, when it does, it really isn't very clear, no matter what you say. If it were that important of an issue, the apostles would have been preaching it every chance that they got. They weren't too concerned with it, so we shouldn't be either.
A million years from now, it won't matter whether you believed in a pre-trib rapture while here on earth.
