A senior Palestinian official said Friday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had declared a comprehensive war on Palestinians... Do tell, Sherlock.

Reminds me of another potential headline: December 8th, 1941, Japan claims the US has declared war on them.
The palestinian culture is truly pathetic. They'll probably be a thorn in the side of Israel until the Lords return.

He said Sharon was dragging the region into further bloodshed Yeah, like the US 8th air force dragged Germany into further bloodshed in the '40's. Man I hate whiners.

Taking arafats compound took all of what... 40 minutes?
It could just as easily been total annihilation in EVERY target area in as little time. No warning. No light gunfire. Just death, burning heaps and partially alive palestians wandering in the streets of their smoking ashheaps.
That Arafat is still breathing instead of oozing in some gutter, with maggots laying their eggs in his open guts, is tremendous testimony to Israeli restraint and even mercy.
They need to stop turning the cheek, and after tonight, I hope for their sakes they have. You cannot make "peace" with a rabid hyenna. You got to take it down in the field, or take it to the pound. Either way, it's got to be put down.
It's time to end the intifada... game, set and match.

And what, pray tell, did the Palestinians expect after 150 dead and wounded, a handshake and a blown kiss? Israel need to reoccupy all of Palestine, disarm it and treat it like a protectorate. For the first time in 18 months it would return to normalcy, with peace and business along with it.THIS bears repeating.

I don't thik so! the mind set of the Parestinians is hatered for all Israeles this has been drilled into the heads of the children for a number of years. Taking over the area and controlling it will not bring things back to normal. This will take a generation of teaching. there is no peace in this area and there will not be any for some time under any circumstances. Moving the Palestinians out completly or just wiping them out is the only quick way to do this.....

Sharon is intent on destroying the Palestinian Authority and the peace process," the Palestinians' chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat, told Reuters. Can you spell "shameless liar," children?

[from an AP story on yahoo.com] Hamas, one of the militant groups at the vanguard of the Palestinian uprising, on Thursday rejected the Arab peace initiative to Israel and vowed to continue "all kinds of resistance."
It is indeed time for Israel to rid itself of all of its implacable enemies.
