The only network covering this live right now that I can find is MSNBC. They are - or just were - showing a news conference including Sharon announcing that Arafat will be "isolated."
He won't elaborate on what "isolate" means.

CNN broke into a re-run of Larry King to carry the Israelie cabinet news conference. FOX was still carrying hours old reruns. Somebody needs to wake up Geraldo.Seems to me if Israel is basically going to war against the entire appraratus of Arafat that is kinda newsworthy?

MSNBC is in a fierce competition to rival CNN as America's Al-Jazeera affiliate. Ashley Banfield's "reportage" this evening from Beirut was disgraceful. Not one second of video was devoted to footage of the Netanya massacre. Only the Arab "perspective" is entertained.
Meanwhile Rivera is working double time over at FOX to show that he hates Israel as much as Ashley, Amanpour, or Martin Fletcher. Tonight he compared Arafat to Menachem Begin as equivalents, and urged Sean Hannity to "give the man a chance to be a statesman". Despicable.

Fox is really laying down on this one.
MSNBC has a guy within earshot of the battle.

He won't elaborate on what "isolate" means. It might mean that the IDF will take the compound and hold Arafat under house arrest -- with IDF troops in the room with him at all times, without visitation by his advisors.
