I'm glad the confusion on what was actually done to Marla Hansen/Kelli McGillis/the Central Park Jogger has been straightened out. I think there's one more case you may be thinking of : The white nun who was slashed dozens of times by two black men who broke into her convent to rob it. She was indeed brutalized because of her race, and this attack happened in the late 1970s, just a few years before the other attacks. This horrendous crime was covered in the book and Movie, "One Tough Cop".
