Since most piercings are not self-performed, then by definition they are not self-mutilation. Masochism, perhaps, but not self-mutilation.

Probably 95% of all the women you know and a goodly percentage of the men have piercings of some sort. Does that imply they are into self-mutilation?

Which of course, is what I found objectionable about the post: the implication that anyone who has a piercing or tattoo is prone to slicing themselves up with a razor. A ridiculous implication if one gives any thought to the matter. More likely a refelection of the posters own bias against piercings anywhere other than the female ear.

When you pin someone to the ground, is that area of the forearm available to you? Usually you pin their arms above their head. Also, the lettering is too good. If you felt a knife slowly cutting you, you would attempt to pull away. This struggling would have made the carving a little difficult and the letters would not be so tightly grouped together. Also, if you are sick enough to carve into someone's skin, why the forearm and the stomache? Why not go for the forehead?

What person are you talking about? If you're talking about Marla Hanson, she was slashed by two men hired by a stalker. I have not found any statement she was raped in the attack.

My point is that a group intent on gang rape would probably be glad to rape a black or Asian woman if a white woman isn't available. Equal opportunity, you know.
