Yes indeed, put(s) WERE commissoned, on the CBOE, just prior to 9/11/01. The FBI and the SEC went right to the CBOE, and began a thorough investigation. The members of the CBOE knew all about it , when it first began, and have been getting some briefings . Yes, I've read the letters.

Lots of us who trade shares once or twice a year and get annual accounting statements covering every penny of the transactions would like to know why the big secrecy on the put option scandal. Thanks again.

Good points Fred, let's see if there's any detail response. While I don't buy off on all of Icke's stuff, there are plenty of things that do need to be put in front of the citizens. If the puts were legit deals I'm sure we'd have that crammed down our throats. It appears they were't, by simple concealment of the details.

According to Der Spiegel, put options in American and United Air Lines were traded, in something like 20 times their normal quantities, on the Thursday and Friday before 9/11. The Thursday happens to be the day that bin Laden said on one of his videotapes that he had gotten word that the attacks were going forward.

I have the " skinny " , because my husband is an original member of the CBOE. I've read the letters, and there isn't anything much to tell; other than yes, there is an investigation, it began days after 9/11/01, EVERYONE has been interviewed, the massive paper trail has neeb looked at, and yes, people are / have been being investigated. Am I going to name names ? Nope. Is the investigation finished ? Nope. Do I know what I'm talking about ? You bet I do ; far more than the idiots who write or read a web site, and haven't ever seen these letters and have NO idea at they are talking about !
